How to Clean Your Immersion Circulator

Cook Time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Find a smaller container that’s deep enough for your circulator to run. Something like a pitcher, large mason jar, a small cooler, or a cereal container will work well.
  • Place the circulator in your container of choice. Add equal parts water and white vinegar - just enough to come above your circulator's fill line.
  • Set your circulator to 150 degrees F and let it run for 1 hour.
  • Remove the circulator from the container. I like to use this opportunity to gently wash the outside with water and dish soap, but you don’t have to. Rinse.
  • Add the circulator back to your container of choice and refill with just water to just above your circulator’s fill line.
  • Set your circulator to 150 degrees F and let it run for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the circulator from the container and dry it completely with a clean dish cloth.
