Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal

  • 1½ cups water
  • 1 heaping tbsp cocoa powder
  • Dash of salt
  • ¾ cup oats (not instant)
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • ¼ cup milk (optional)
  • 1 banana, sliced (optional)
  1. In a medium sized stockpot, bring the water to a boil over high heat.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium-high and stir in the cocoa powder and salt. Add the oats and stir to combine.
  3. Let cook, stirring frequently, for five minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl. Stir in peanut butter, brown sugar, and milk if desired. Top with sliced banana.
