So, you’re thinking of self-publishing a cookbook! That’s awesome. I self-published my first cookbook in 2018 and my second cookbook in 2021!
Since self-publishing, Everyday Sous Vide: It’s All French to Me, I’ve been on a dozen live TV appearances, booked podcasts interviews, judged cooking contests, spoken at conferences and so many much more! I’ve had all of the same opportunities as a traditional book deal AND I got to write and design my book exactly how I wanted. Not to mention, I keep 100% of the royalties.
Shortly after publishing, I did an interview on Food Blogger Pro’s podcast about my experience and got so many questions from my fellow food bloggers afterwards!
So, I started documenting my experience here and made The Cookbook Lab, a course that teaches food bloggers how to self-publish their own cookbooks. I also developed free resources to help you get started and figure out if you’re ready to write a cookbook!
