Almost Summer Time GIVEAWAY! (Closed)
Giveaway closed and winner announced!
I’ve been planning on doing this giveaway for awhile, but I’d love to also say that I happen to be doing it in celebration of the end of the ten year hide and seek game with Osama bin Laden. So I will. I’m so happy for our country and so proud of Obama, the CIA, and all others involved. Congratulations and good work Team USA!
I don’t know if I’ve expressed this before, but I LOVE chickens. I just adore them. If you have chickens or are familiar with them, you know they’re beginning to lay a ton right now as the weather is getting warmer. If only Boyfriend would let me put chickens in his yard… siiigh.
To celebrate this time of year, I’ve decided that you guys need a copy of this lovely book, Chicken and Egg: A Memoir of Suburban Homesteading with 125 Recipes. This book really is beautiful. It includes tips and stories about raising chickens, as well as 125 chicken and egg related recipes.
Yep. 125 chicken and egg based recipes. And it’s chock full of gorgeous pictures, and separated into sections based on the season. The cover is even gorgeous.
To help you try out all of the crepes, omelettes, and other delicious eggy treats, I’m also giving you a T-Fal One Egg Wonder frying pan.
It really is adorable. And it’ll keep all of your egg creations just the right size.
